They established one of the first fair-trade relationships in the United States, with the Santa Elena cooperative in Costa Rica, and send a dollar back to the farm for every pound of Monteverde coffee sold. They offer espresso drinks and sell fresh roasted coffee beans retail, with 30 years of roasting behind them.
