About this shop
What coffee lovers say
A summary of what people say about this shop.
Opinions on the coffee are split: some call the espresso decent but not yet specialty-grade, while others praise the direct-trade micro-lot sourcing and a new geisha offering as genuinely specialty. The atole cortado stands out as a favorite, described as warm, smooth and fragrant, with corn flavor pairing nicely with oat milk.
What the shop says
In the shop's own words, summarized by us.
They roast their coffee in small batches, favoring intention and taste over quantity, and use a Mountain Water decaffeination process. Coffee drinks are made with atole, a masa-based beverage, in place of steamed milk, including an atole cortado pairing espresso with an atole sidecar.
