What the shop says
In the shop's own words, summarized by us.
They developed their own brewing method, the Boilermakr, through roasting at altitude in Colorado, and roast on highly modified vintage Probat drum roasters using state-of-the-art software. They buy the majority of their coffee from Mauricio Salaverria and his team at Divisadero Farms in El Salvador, paying well above C-market and Fair Trade prices, alongside coffees from Colombia and Ethiopia.
What coffee lovers say
A summary of what people say about this shop.
The coffee is generally regarded as high quality, with espresso, drip, latte, and cappuccino all singled out as excellent, though opinions are split and some find it bad. Hot lattes get noted for a distinctive bitterness not found elsewhere, and home-brewed bulk beans, including decaf and Peruvian, are also praised.
