What the shop says
In the shop's own words, summarized by us.
They roast on highly modified vintage Probat drum roasters, using a proprietary brewing method called the Boilermakr developed from roasting at altitude in the Colorado mountains. Most of their coffee is bought each year from Mauricio Salaverria and his team at Divisadero Farms in El Salvador, paying well above C-market or Fair Trade prices, alongside sourcing from Colombia and Ethiopia. Signature blends include Stella, Bareknuckle, No.7, and Cherrypicker.
What coffee lovers say
A summary of what people say about this shop.
Coffee lovers generally find the quality high, pointing to good single-origin and house blend options across espresso and drip. Both the classic washed and Ethiopian natural coffees get praised for careful sourcing and roasting, and the iced coffee is called bold and delicious. Opinions aren't unanimous, though: some find the coffee bitter and over-extracted, likely brewed too hot.
