Beans are hand-roasted in small batches at their Colorado facility, using the high altitude to roast slower and at lower temperatures for a smoother, less bitter finish. An experienced roaster works by sight, smell, and sound rather than computers, and blends range from the caramelly Vienna Roast to the honeyed, bittersweet Black and Tan.
