They roast in small batches for flavor and consistency, working direct trade with growing partners to pay fair prices. The roots run deep: founder Mike McKim was introduced to coffee roasting by his uncle in the late 1990s and spent years in the espresso-machine business learning from people who shaped modern specialty coffee, building decades of relationships with growers worldwide.
